I just read in an issue of Wisconsin Trail's Magazine that Wisconsin produces more goat milk than any other state.
The Fantome Farm was featured in the piece and was one if not the first farm to sell chevre (soft fresh French style cheese made from goat's milk) made on their farm from milk from their own herd. Chevre means goat in French. Other goat farms selling cheese include:
