Goats in Pop Culture: Yotsuba!
These are a few of my favorite things ~ goats and manga. This time in the Japanese comic, Yotsuba!, which is created by the same artist as Azumanga Daiho. Yotsuba is a slice of life series about a little girl and her explorations of the world. It's full of candy-sweet comedy boardering on cavity-induction. Still, in volume 7 she and her adopted dad, Jumbo (a large man who is friends with her dad) and Yanda, another acquaintance with an abrasive attitude Yotsuba doesn't like, head to a farm. Yanda decides goats are better than sheep. However, no one is quite sure what they are good for (click for a larger scan):
